About the study:

Introduction

Encounter Jesus in community by joining our Lenten Life Group Study. Throughout the season of Lent we will study the book of John together, gaining a better understanding of who Jesus is and the truth he shares.

Throughout the journeys described in John's Gospel, Jesus encounters a number of people whose lives are changed forever as he reveals divine truth to them. We will join Jesus in these encounters to better understand who he is and the truth he shares. From the great teacher of Israel, Nicodemus, to Jesus’s favorite family of Lazarus, Martha, and Mary; from a 38-year-old invalid to the woman caught in adultery, Jesus never leaves people the same.

As you read through the gospel along with the commentary and devotions included in this book, I hope you too will be changed by Jesus, growing deeper in your faith in him, deeper in your understanding of this great gospel, and deeper in your love for the Savior and Redeemer of the world.

Reagan has written this book to help you dig into the Gospel of John both on your own in reading it and then sharing your thoughts and ideas about it with others in a small group setting. It is one thing to learn as individuals. It is another to learn with and from others. He hopes you will take advantage of these materials to discover the deep truths God has for you about Jesus and yourself.
