The Rev. Charlie Holt is the associate rector for teaching and formation at St. John the Divine. Charlie’s passion is to see the worldwide Church reconciled, reformed and renewed for vital gospel mission to the lost. To that end, he has served as an ordained pastor and priest for over 23 years.
As the author of seven works, his most recent book is Draw Near: Hebrews on Christian Worship. He is also the founder and president of Bible Study Media, a non-profit Christian publishing company where he serves as the director of the Hearts Alive: A Gospel Lectionary Children’s Curriculum project. He holds an M.Div. from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary. a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Charlie is also a Certified Christian Conciliator with the Institute of Christian Conciliation. He and his wife, Brooke, have three children. You can follow him on his teaching blog, Engaging Truth.
