Welcome to SJD Youth!
Our mission is to equip students in grades 6 – 12 for a life of faith that continues long after they graduate from high school and our program.
Students in the youth ministry at St. John the Divine have the opportunity to authentically grow in the Christian faith and mission while being nurtured in their continued development and maturity as individuals and in community. We help our students take ownership of their faith and give them the freedom to wrestle with their questions in a safe environment. Our students share opportunities for God to work in their lives through regular times of community, fun, service, mentoring, worship, teaching, and discussion.

Director of Youth Ministry
The youth group of St. John the Divine has taught me the importance of volunteering in the community and helping those in need and because of that I have grown stronger in my faith.
We serve all manner of students with all manner of gifts. We need a diverse and passionate group of volunteers who can help us match the gifts and talents of our students with the those of adult leaders who can help them understand and discover real applications for the talents with which God has blessed them.
If you have a heart to see the lives of young people moved and changed through the work of the Holy Spirit, come serve alongside us.
