Family Matters: What Does God Have to Do with the Family?

Sundays, September 11 – October 2 at 10:15 am in Room 210
Faculty: The Rev. Neal McGowan and Dan Gannon

We often discuss how we, as individuals, are called to a personal relationship with God. But what of the family unit? Between school runs, soccer practice, and the work-life balance tightrope, how do we find a deeper commitment to God?

In this eight-week class, we will be looking at Scripture and the theological tradition of the church to help us see God’s purposes for families, and how he calls us to serve beyond our biological family into the body of Christ. We will also spend a few minutes of each class going over a very simple devotional or spiritual practice that you can integrate into your family life.
