God calls us by name, invites us into a relationship with him, and beckons us into his body, the Church. God knows our needs: belonging, accountability, growth, love, and encouragement; we get that in his Church. We invite you to be part of the St. John’s family, and to join our mission: Changing lives for God in Christ.

If you would like to know more about becoming a member of St. John the Divine, you may find these common questions and answers helpful:

Q: What does it mean to be a member of St. John the Divine?

A: St. John’s members are committed to growing... We ask members to pray daily, worship weekly, grow faithfully, serve and give regularly.

New member classes are offered three times a year. Contact Kim Jameson, kjameson@sjd.org or 713.354.2230 for more information.

Q. If I’ve been a member of another church, how do I become a member here?

A. It’s very simple! Inform one of the clergy or contact Kim Jameson, Director of Membership Development kjameson@sjd.org that you would like to be a member here. You will be recorded as a member of St. John the Divine. If your membership is recorded in another Episcopal church, we will request a letter of transfer be sent on your behalf.

If you have any questions concerning your membership, contact kjameson@sjd.org for more information.
