Welcome to St. John the Divine, Cory Majid!

I have great news! Let me introduce the newest SJD student ministry team member, Cory Majid. Cory has lived in the Houston area (Kingwood) and has been actively involved in the Diocese of Texas via the Church of the Good Shepherd for nearly ten years.

Cory graduated in the spring from the University of Houston with a degree in marketing. He has been fulfilling a commitment to the senior staff leadership at Camp Allen and has been looking forward to joining the SJD family all summer. Cory loves being with students and, from what we have already witnessed, students love being with Cory. He is a known figure within the Diocese of Texas, a young man with exceptional gifts and talents while at the same time possessing a deep faith in God.

Impressive random facts about Cory: He was a four-time state freestyle swimming champion from 2015-2017 and has a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu.

Cory will be serving as a youth minister alongside Emma Kastens and Hannah Choate.
