At St. John the Divine we put prayer first. Before planning, before service, before all that we do, we pray. And we want to encourage and equip you to do the same so that your life may be filled with unceasing prayer — prayer that comforts the hurting, heals the sick, expresses gratitude, and changes lives. We invite you to join us for two very special opportunities to enrich your prayer life.

Taizé Prayer for Epiphany
Sunday, January 9 — 6 pm in the Church
A Taizé prayer service quiets the mind, opens the heart, and feeds the soul. Using simple, beautiful melodies, this prayer service is not a performance - everyone is encouraged to join in song that is prayer! This is an ecumenical prayer service where Christians of all traditions are welcome to pray together in solidarity and hope. This special Epiphany Taizé is held by candlelight.
