We know this is a difficult and anxious time for our parish family, and we continue to pray for peace that passes all understanding for each of you. To keep us connected and interacting with one another as we socially distance ourselves, we will be offering several opportunities to participate in our common life as a congregation and grow in our faith. We will communicate and connect via our website, emails, and on Facebook and other social media platforms. Visit our SJD online resources page for links. Starting this Sunday, here is the planned schedule of offerings:

Our current plans are to have a receptionist ansering the SJD main phone line (713.622.3600) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon to receive your phone calls to the church. All our clergy and staff are automatically sent any voicemails you leave on their direct church lines. You can access the staff directory by selecting option 3 on our church voicemail menu or on our website here. They will respond to you as they can remotely.
Our pastoral care has moved from in-person to virtual and phone calls. Please keep us informed of pastoral needs by leaving a message on the CARE line at 713.354.2255, posting to our Virtual Prayer Wall (and responding to people's prayer requests there), or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do not know how long our social distancing will last, but we are prepared to stay connected. Please know that we will modify our plans as things change. This is a work in progress as we respond to the current situation in faith.
