If you’re looking for a meaningful place to use your "green thumb," think of us! Since 2000, CCSC has maintained a very successful fruit and vegetable garden. In 2015, 4,300 pounds of organic produce was harvested and given to clients in need. What a wonderful way to address hunger in our community! The CCSC Garden is currently located on the Gethsemane Campus of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, and more volunteers are needed for on-going involvement. Generally, volunteers commit to helping 1-3 mornings per week on Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday. We can train almost anyone to garden, but especially need experienced leaders to jump in. We would love to put you to great use in the CCSC Garden!
