Administrative Assistant:

Principal Functions:The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of two Associate Rectors’ offices in a one-on-one working relationship.  The Administrative Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Associate Rectors’ offices.  The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.  The Administrative Assistant must be able to work under pressure and handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. This is a 19-hour per week part time position (less than 1,000 hours per year).

Event Coordinator:

Principal Function:  The primary role of the Event Coordinator is to oversee the scheduling and planning of different types of internal and external events – meetings, seminars, classes, hospitality and community relations. A key function will be scheduling and managing in-house resources as needed to effectively, efficiently and accurately service the event needs of St. John the Divine. This is a 19-hour per week part time position (less than 1,000 hours per year).
