SJD Youth - High School
Students in the 9th-12th grades are invited to be part of our high school ministry. The high school ministry is led by , Director of High School Ministry.
Ninth-12th grade students are invited to our weekly Sunday School. We meet in the Youth Room (236). High school students will gather together for fellowship and breakfast followed by a time of small-group discussion, worship, and teaching.
Lent: During Lent, SJD Youth will hold a teaching series during Midweek (Wednesday nights @ 6:00) that follows Jesus' final journey to Jerusalem, and his death on the cross. We will look at key moments, stories, and parables that hold amazing encouragements for us as we go about observing a holy Lent. Don't miss out on a fresh look at the parable of The Good Samaritan, Jesus' teaching on filling our lives with God's presence, The Parable of the Prodigal Son (more accurately of the Two Sons), and Jesus' lament over Jerusalem before the Triumphal Entry.
Community: A study on what it means to be the Church in the world; how God's plan for his people should define our lives, culture, and identity as a family in Christ.
Join us in the Youth room for a relaxed atmosphere full of good food and fellowship; followed by games, group discussions, and worship. This year we will be discussing True Discipleship as we look to the scriptures to discover what being a disciple of Jesus is all about, and how Christ calls us to live into that identity.
