Elementary Sunday School

Our elementary-age (1st-3rd grade) program welcomes children on a journey through the Bible that will give them a sense of God’s love and plan right from the beginning. We believe stronger families make stronger churches. This program is designed so that Sunday school supports families as the primary setting for spiritual growth. Using FaithWeaver® Bible curriculum, all ages study and experience the same scripture in creative ways. With our outstanding team of leaders, we will dig deeply into God’s living word and explore it in exciting ways. 

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Level I (3 - 6 years)

This dynamic Montessori-based approach to the spiritual formation of the young child is rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the church, and the educational principles of Maria Montessori. Children 3 years-3rd grade gather in an “atrium,” a room prepared for them, which contains simple yet beautiful materials that they use. Children are introduced to the Bible through liturgy, parables, contemplative work, and prayers.
